1. Summary
ReadyDeck is a local-first application. The household information you enter is stored in a database on your device. Zellgo International LLC ("Zellgo," "we," "us") does not operate a ReadyDeck account system or cloud service, and we do not receive the contents of your inventory, documents, household profiles, or plans.
Some device features are optional and used only when you choose them, such as the camera for scanning a playbook QR code, notifications for rotation reminders, and Face ID or another biometric check for the app lock. App Store and Google Play purchases are processed by those platforms, not by us.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the ReadyDeck mobile applications and to this website. It does not apply to third-party websites you may open from the app or site, including official emergency-management sources and app stores. Those services have their own privacy policies.
3. Information you create in ReadyDeck
ReadyDeck is a record-keeping tool, so the app lets you enter information such as:
- Inventory items, quantities, categories, expiration dates, and storage locations.
- Household member names and optional details such as birth year and gender.
- Emergency card fields, which may include blood type, allergies, medications, and emergency contacts.
- Evacuation plans, rally points, route notes, communication channels, and vehicle profiles.
- Checklists, notes, and documents or images you choose to place in the local vault.
- Backups, reports, and CSV or playbook files that you explicitly export.
- App settings, such as theme, units, currency, selected regions, and reminder preferences.
This information is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to Zellgo. If you enter health information about yourself or others, you do so voluntarily, and it remains on your device unless you export or share it.
4. What we do not collect
ReadyDeck does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or telemetry services. We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or postal address through the app.
- Your contacts, calendar, location, or browsing history.
- Device identifiers for advertising or cross-app tracking.
- The contents of your inventory, vault, emergency card, or playbooks.
If you email support, we receive the contents of your message and your email address. We use that information only to respond and to maintain necessary support records.
5. Device permissions
- Camera (optional): used only when you choose to scan a ReadyDeck playbook QR code. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not stored or transmitted by ReadyDeck.
- Photos and files (optional): when you import a document into the local vault or choose an image, the system document or photo picker lets you select the specific item. ReadyDeck does not request broad access to your photo library.
- Notifications (optional): used for local rotation reminders and playback milestones. Notifications are scheduled on your device; no ReadyDeck server sends them.
- Face ID or other biometrics (optional): used only for the app lock. The biometric check is performed by your operating system. ReadyDeck receives only a success or failure result, never biometric data.
You can decline or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Features that depend on a revoked permission will be unavailable, but the rest of the app continues to work.
6. Purchases
ReadyDeck Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those platforms handle payment information, purchase history, and receipts under their own privacy policies. ReadyDeck receives the entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features; it does not receive your card number or billing address. Restoring a purchase is also handled by the platform.
7. Where your data is stored
The ReadyDeck database and local vault are stored in the app's private storage area on your device. Protection therefore depends on your device's operating-system security, including your passcode and device encryption. The vault relies on that protection; it is not a separate encrypted container.
ReadyDeck is designed to work without network access. The mobile apps do not request internet access. Store purchases and operating-system services are handled by the platform outside the app's own network permissions.
8. Backups, exports, and sharing
Backups, PDF reports, CSV files, and playbook packages are created only when you choose to create them. You decide where the resulting file is saved or sent. If you save a file to a cloud drive, messaging app, or email, that provider's terms and privacy policy apply to the file.
Backups can be protected with a password. If you enable a password and later lose it, the backup cannot be decrypted or recovered by Zellgo. Unencrypted backups and exported PDFs or CSVs are not protected by ReadyDeck and should be handled accordingly.
When you use a playbook's QR summary, the QR code contains only a format marker, a revision timestamp, a checksum prefix, and item counts. It is designed not to contain names, addresses, medical fields, or item names.
9. Retention and deletion
Your local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app's private database and vault; it does not remove backups, reports, CSVs, or playbook files that you previously saved elsewhere.
Because we do not receive your in-app data, we cannot access, export, or delete it for you. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and to meet legal or accounting obligations.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information, and to object to certain processing or request a portable copy. Because ReadyDeck does not transmit your in-app data to us, the most direct way to exercise these rights over that data is through the app and your device.
For personal information you have sent to us by email, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
11. Children
ReadyDeck is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is intended for use by adults managing a household's preparedness. Parents and guardians should supervise any use by minors and decide what household information is appropriate to record.
12. Security
We design ReadyDeck to minimize risk by keeping data local and by avoiding accounts or servers that could expose it. No method of storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device with a passcode, keeping it updated, and choosing safe locations for backups and exports.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised, and material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
